Press Release Summary = The Andover Cultural Council, in partnership with the
Addison Gallery of American Art, is hosting a celebration entitled "
Massterpieces"to recognize the 2007 local recipients of Cultural Council grants,
On March 3, 2007 from 5:30 to 7 PM at the Addison Gallery of American Art on the
campus fo Phillips Academy in Andover.

Press Release Body = The Andover Cultural Council, in partnership with the Addison
Gallery of American Art, is hosting a celebration entitled " Massterpieces"to
recognize the 2007 local recipients of Cultural Council grants. The Council will
recognize twenty five organizations and individuals from Andover and neighboring
communities. The evening\'s program includes a performance by the North Shore Youth
Symphony ensemble, welcoming remarks by Addison Gallery Director, Brian Allen, and
comments from grant recipients. Refreshments are provided complements of Andover
Liquors, Dish, The Cupcake Boutique, and Andover Cakes. Butler Bank is the sponsor
for the event to be held on May 3, 2007 from 5:30 to 7:00PM at the Addison Gallery
of American Art on the campus of Phillips Academy.

The Andover Cultural Council is part of the Local Cultural Council Program (LCC),
the second largest grant program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The LCC
Program is the most extensive system of its kind in the nation to support arts,
sciences and humanities in local communities.

Andover Cultural Council grants benefit public school arts and sciences programs,
help to support public art projects, provide a show case for local artists at town
events such as Andover Days, and help to nurture new arts and established arts
programs in our community including such well known arts programs as the Andover
Chamber Music Series, the Andover Choral Society and many others.
